FIND THE BEST TIJUANA DENTIST For Dental Implants & Cosmetic Dentistry by the Board Certified Mexico Dentist Association

Tijuana Dentist Reviews - Get The Best Tijuana Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry in Tijuana Mexico

By the Board Certified Dentist Association

Zona Rio in Tijuana has fine restaurants, museums, galleries, first-class hotels, malls and the best Tijuana dentists.

How to find the Best Dentist in Tijuana Board Certified for dental implants, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and more.

Are you searching for a certified dentist in Tijuana for your dental implants? If you are having any kind of advanced dentistry you should be looking for one.  And definitely not a general dentist.

American dental patients who cross the border are searching for the mythical "best Tijuana dentist" - one who who can make perfect crowns, veneers, orthodontics or dental implants. And cheap. A cleaning and a filling? You can get that from your dentist at home without selling your house but you can't get advanced dentistry in the US for a reasonable price anymore.

You have to be cautious as most dentists in Tijuana are only general dentists and they'd love to have a chance at doing your dental implants. Some say the figure may be as high as 85-90%.

www.dentaltourismnewsco.blogspot.com

You've heard by now that you can literally save 1,000’s of dollars on your dental implants or cosmetic dentistry in Tijuana. But you have to know where to go to get the work done right because if you let  a general dentist in Mexico under your hood - you may have to get the work done over again if  you  are not lucky.
There are 2 kinds of dentists in Mexico doing advanced dentistry - generals and specialists. And US dental patients should know the difference between the two when they travel to Mexico for their crown, cosmetic dentistry or dental implants.

General dentists in Mexico are permitted to perform advanced dental procedures such as root canals, crowns, oral surgery and implants despite a general dentist's lack of formal training and certification for advanced dental procedures. Read that line again. The Mexican government doesn't stand in the way of a lowly general dentist trying to earn a living, learning while drilling away on their unsuspecting patients.

A general dentist in Mexico can take a quickie weekend course in dental implants from an implant manufacturer or buy a whitening machine and reinvent himself a cosmetic dentist. Or even call themselves a "Specialist."

But that does not in anyway equate the 2-6 years of additional formal schooling necessary to learn the complicated dental procedures involved in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery or dental implants that a Mexican (or US) dentist has to acquire to become a Board Certified Dentist - a REAL specialist.

Some play fast and loose with the term 'Specialist' south of the border - not so much in the US anymore thanks to stronger consumer protection laws.
If your family general dentist back home in the states attempted to do implants, veneers or a root canal without having undergone additional years in dental specialist school and becoming certified they would have their license revoked. Or worse - perform dentistry gratis for fellow inmates inside a prison for several years.

Dental patients having large treatments performed by general dentists in Mexico risk having their expensive dental work having to be redone due to the general dentist's lack of training. And it happens. You will have to pay to have the work undone, then pay to have it redone properly. By a certified dentist in the US or Mexico.

Things that can go wrong include: implants misaligned, crowns or bridges that are set too close, set with poor adhesives, new crowns that are poorly color matched, procedures that shouldn't be performed until bone or gum issues are remedied and healed and sedation and ouch issues.

Certified dentists in Tijuana cost the same as general dentists in Tijuana, so there's little reason not to go for a true board certified dentist when it comes to anything beyond the normal cleaning, filling and pulling that general dentists in Mexico AND the US are trained to do.

DENTAL TOURISM SAVES SENIORS BIG MONEY - Have a Denture Adventure!

Seniors can save big money going abroad on a dental holiday. But one needs to do their homework before getting on that boat or plane for your dental holiday.

Bangkok, Cabo and Manila dentists are popular dental tourism destinations - but most fly rather than cruise.. Besides - most cruise ships are only a day or so in any given port - not long enough for any substantial dentistry that requires lab time between appointments.

Baby Boomers,  +55,  seniors -  that ever growing segment of the US population are now going offshore in droves seeking  affordable  dentistry in  Mexico  and Asia.    They  are hoping to find good  quality  dental  care  away  from  home and are usually happy with their  results   - but  not always.

Many are lured into clinics  owned  and  operated  by  general dentists who  in many developing nations such as Mexico -  are  permitted  to learn  advanced dental  procedures at the patient’s expense.

Expensive procedures  such as dental implants,  mini implants and cosmetic dental makeovers are often half  or less than  the cost for the same procedures back in the US,  Canada  or  other developed  nations.

You can save up to 75% on your dentistry in Manila, Bangkok or Mexico.

Mexican or Manila dental clinics can easily save seniors $10,000 to $30,000us on a full-mouth oral restoration.

And it's easy to lose that much if you chance on a general dentist to do your dental work instead of board certified dentist who has the years of additional formal training in specialist school necessary for the advanced dental procedures involved.

Mexico dentists - Los Algodones, Tijuana and other Mexican border towns are popular for US dental tourists driving across the border.  If one is having a root canal or crown and you live within a couple hours drive of the border, and you are ok with border traffic waits - this makes sense.

Cabo, Los Cabos, Cancun - If you are planning on a larger treatment requiring a couple or visits to the clinic requiring a week or more stay - you would be wise to consider taking a dental vacation to a first-class Mexican beach resort town such as Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Cancun.

Puerto Vallarta dentists are especially popular with seniors as PV is less touristy, much more traditional and tranquil than the vacation hot spots Cabo and Cancun.

Cabo Surf Hotel, Cabo San Lucas Mexico 5-Star dining overlooking the surf breaks is a favorite place to stay when having a Mexico dental vacation.

Costa Rica Dentist - Some go further to Costa Rica or Brazil but the additional airfare can negate one’s savings on dentistry unless you are having a larger treatment.

Also consider visiting a Manila or Bangkok dentist. They are even less expensive than Mexican dentists and Manila dentists speak perfect English as American English is the national language in the Philippines.

The dental holiday experience for those who have not visited Asia is priceless.

San Diego California is one of America’s favorite vacation spots and is just across the border from Tijuana Mexico. You stay and play in San Diego while you have your dentistry 15 minutes down the road with a Tijuana dentist.

Patients visiting a Tijuana dentist often stay in San Diego just 15 mins. up the hwy.

Bangkok Thailand offers one multi-story dental hospitals with a veritable buffet of amenities including kids playrooms, internet cafes, restaurants and lodging. Bangkok and Manila dentists have been popular with Europeans, Brits and Aussies for decades.

Thai and Manila dentists are the most popular in Asia for dental tourism.

Manila dentists have become more popular than Thai dentists most recently due to increased promotion of Philippine tourism by the government highlighted by their catchy slogan - "It's More Fun in the Philippines," and an equal lack of promotion by the Thai government which declared martial law in June 2014 after 2 years of political instability.

The Philippines - Americans especially feel at home in the Philippines and the country is the most Americanized country outside of the US.  Filipinos love Americans and all things American from the movies to US sports celebs. Kobe Bryant is big with youth here right now.

Turkey has become popular with senior dental tourists arriving from Western Europe as it offers prices that are far lower than most countries in the European developed nations and features a unique history and culture for one to experience.

However Turkey is now becoming a less-than-desirable tourist destination due to the serious conflict in nearby Syria and Iraq.

Dental tourists like any other tourists need to be aware of the ever changing political climates in other nations when traveling abroad.

Expect airport delays due to higher levels of security, portions of towns can be blockaded by demonstrators or authorities all combining to make for a real denture adventure most would rather avoid.

DO YOU HAVE TMJ DISFUNCTION? Temporomandibular Joint Disorder Affects Millions of People

Many people have TMJ dysfunction also known as temporomandibular joint disorder which cause pain  in the jaw, joints, neck etc.  Cabo Cosmetic Smiles clinic owner dentist Dr. Guillermo limon has clinics in Tijuana and Cabo San Lucas where he treats patients with TMJ in addition to orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

TMJ is a little understood dental, maxillofacial, muscular, nerve disorder that makes life miserable for millions..

Many people today  suffer  Temporomandibular  Joint Disorder (TMJD), also known as TMJ. Some patients feel constant  headaches  and  earaches,   followed  by noises, popping,   clicking  when opening  and  closing,   or simply not being able to open and close the mouth.

Fatigue  and/or  pain  in  the  neck,  back,  hips,  knees, shoulders and arms are often accompanied with nausea, depression, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

The   symptoms  aforementioned  are  associated  with   a cranial cervical  mandibular  dysfunction  well  known as TMJ dysfunction.

TMJ dysfunction has been documented since the Hippocrates era. Until today, we have not been able to standardize, define, diagnose or treat it. This has caused many misdiagnosis, incorrect treatments, and high quantities of medical prescriptions.

The ideal is to reach a correct BIOLOGICAL-NEUROMUSCULAR equilibrium. In short – a  pain-free jaw, face, head, neck, shoulder  and leg muscles.

Dr. Guillermo Limon is recognized  as one  of the leading specialist dentists in the country of  Mexico   for diagnosing and treating TMJ dysfunction. If you are suffering from TMJ, Dr. Limon can certainly help you,  either  in  his new Cabo San Lucas or Tijuana dental clinics.

Cabo dentist Dr. Limon is a past president of the Baja Dental Association, member of the Board Certified Mexico Dentist Association, orthodontist, tmj specialist, cosmetic and general dentist. He and his associate specialists perform dental implants, oral surgery and more in Cabo and Tijuana. A patient can visit their Tijuana or Cabo San Lucas dental clinics for their treatments as the specialists divide their time between locations.

OBAMA CARE HAS MEXICAN DENTISTS DANCING IN THE STREETS - Dental Tourism News Co

Follow: US News, Obama Care, Obama Dental Care, National Health Care Plan, Mexico dentists

By David de Los Angeles for The Board Certified Mexico Dentist Association

All over Mexico, dentists are dancing in the streets over Obama’s new 'NO' dental health care plan, as the majority of the treatments received by Americans in Mexico fall within the areas that will continue to be denied coverage by American dental insurance plans such as multiple root canals, crowns and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and oral restorations.

Mexican dentists will continue to enjoy the steady flow of inadequately insured American patients who head south for affordable dental care as they have for decades.

The Health Care Reform act allocates money for dental schools, equipment, computer record keeping systems, allows more poor onto the Medicaid program which essentially allows for extractions of bad teeth rather than restorations. It also allows the insurance companies to keep charging premiums while permitting one crown or root canal a year. Good job ADA and dental insurance company lobbyists!

So what does a person do when he or she needs 6 dental implants, 5 crowns, 2 root canals, a bridge or a full-mouth restoration? They do the same as they did before Health Care Reform - mortgage the house, disinherit the kids or take a dental vacation.

Your new smile is but 2-5 hours away by plane from all major US cities. Mexican border towns like Tijuana receive more dental travel day trippers while Cabo and Puerto Vallarta are the preferred destinations for the majority of US and Canadian dental vacation patients.

For information on Mexican dental tourism visit the Board Certified Mexico Dentist Association website  for Free Mexico dental cost estimates, dentist resumes, referrals, appointment setting and more. Association staff speak English and dental estimates and travel information is without cost or obligation.
